When I was little there were many things that went bump in the night and strangely enough they still do. With nocturnal shadowy people walking across our front veranda and a menacing something in the hallway, my sister and I knew we were not alone. But nonetheless, she used to delight in telling me the most grisly ghost stories before she would fall off to sleep at night leaving me wide awake and cringing in horror. As I grew older my awareness of my sixth sense, my intuition expanded and I began to realise that there were other existences beyond scary ghosts and my thirst for knowledge about the other realms that are part and apart from our physical, five sense world.

The other existences, dimensions, realms or everything else that makes up the unknown universe for us is only a vibration or a frequency away. Tuning into your psychic or intuitive channel, is something like tuning into a frequency band on a radio by hearing or seeing. Sometimes all five of the senses are used to communicate with the other side. We are all psychic, it is just a matter of fine-tuning our perception by clearing out the internal chatter, relaxing, and then waiting for different kinds of thoughts that stand out against the background of ordinary thoughts.

There are tools of course such as Tarot, Dreams, Psychometry and Numerology just to name a few that can help to open up this channel so we may communicate with our loved ones who have passed over, our guides, angels, spiritual helpers or the auric field of another.

My avid thirst for knowledge enabled me to take on board a few of these methods in the psychic fields, including mediumship itself while still pursuing even more understanding of the other side. I am sure this learning never ends.

As for my sister, later in life she was visited by ghosts that walked through walls, lights down hallways, furniture being moved in the middle of the night and general hauntings at quite a few places she lived at. Maybe fate has a way of getting back after all.
